Chapter Overview

ISM—Florida First Coast, Inc. (ISM—FFC) is a chapter of the Institute for Supply Management® (ISM®), which was originally founded in 1915 and has since expanded internationally to over 50,000 members worldwide, making ISM the largest supply management association in the world, as well as one of the most respected. ISM defines Supply Management as the identification, acquisition, access, positioning, management of resources and related capabilities the organization needs or potentially needs in the attainment of its strategic objectives.

Our History

1959: The Crown Chapter was founded, North East Florida officially began its quest to establish a professional environment for growth and edification of Supply Management professionals.

1984: The organization later became the Purchasing Management Association—Florida First Coast.

1995: Again changing its name to the National Association of Purchasing Management — Florida First Coast.

2007: As the profession evolution continues, the organization is now called Institute for Supply Management—Florida First Coast (ISM—FFC).

2011: ISM—FFC holds the 2011-2012 Installation of Officers at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.

2017: Golf Tournament- To help find a cure for Rett Syndrome.
